If i have Engine Block (V8 OHV G) there are loads of engines that it COULD be used for but probably only 1 or 2 engines that it CAN be used for meaning that you have to try and create each V8 until you find an engine that the block works with.
Your suggestion works if you are deliberately going out to create a specific engine but i just think that it's daft that they don't state the engine block needed BEFORE you try and build an engine (i.e. Add me on steam and we can jump in discord and I can explain it in full if you want. seems inefficient, All you have to do is go to the block holder, select the engine you want to BUILD, then when you go to place the block it will tell you the block needed to build it.and all the other parts needed as you continue to build it.
